Natural Convergence Announces Jim Meenan as Board Chairman

Leading telecom industry executive to guide strategic growth of company

OTTAWA, Canada – June 10, 2003 – Natural Convergence Inc., a pioneer of broadband communications software for Telecom Carriers, today announced the appointment of James (Jim) Meenan to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Meenan, the former AT&T Canada CEO, brings 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to his role as Chairman. As is his style, Meenan will play a very proactive role in the guidance, shaping and acceleration of the company’s maturity as we shift from Product development to intensified channel and mass market deployment. The company’s success to date has been built on strategic partnerships and Jim brings a strong reputation in developing alliances that deliver concrete bottom line results.

From 1995 to 2000, Meenan served as CEO and President of AT&T Canada, during which he successfully established the company’s presence within the country. Prior to his tenure in Canada, Meenan held various executive, financial and operating roles at AT&T Corp. in the United States. Today, he continues to serve on the Board of Directors of AT&T Canada, and holds various additional board positions with technology companies throughout North America.
